Bob Saget Memorial 1/30
Very unfortunate loss for the entire comedy community. Tons of gather at the Comedy Store to pay respect to Bob Saget. I was able to kick it with Bob briefly, June 29th 2021. We bonded, followed me on IG and I really felt like he’d make a great mentor for me. Sadly we ran out of time. Jeff Ross put on a show. Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, John Mayer, Byron Allen, etc. attended and were very fun.

Fresh Pair of J’s podcast 1/29
First of all, I go back with Jonathan Tumblin & Jay Greene since the stone ages. Nothing but respect for these brothers platform and what the built. I was so honored to be on the cast which included Mark Boyd and Barry Jones. I loved doing their show, we really dug in as far as topics go. I got a chance to plug my comedy album so I was grateful for that. I think I’m back on next Saturday. I’ll start leaving links soon

The HEADLINERS
Started my day doing the Comedy Store Door guy podcast. Then from there headed to the Comedy Nook to do a set. Comedy Nook has quickly become one of my favorite comedy clubs S/O to Nthenya. Afterwards I headed to The Belasco DTLA where I was able to catch DC Ervin, Tony Baker, Chaunte Wayans, Sydney Castillo and Esau McGraw film their special for HBO MAX presented by Marlon Wayans. It was overwhelming seeing how much love was in the room for these guys. This opportunity was over deserved. Glad Marlon honored them!!

Roosterfish: Abbot Kidding 1/27
I rarely go to Venice but every time I do it’s always a unique experience. I arrived early no one was there. The place filled up in 2 seconds, packed to the brim. I went up 3rd, I was surprised that no one talking about the elephant in the room … there was a literal elephant in the room. It looked like a Mammoth Piñata … also, went to the Comedy Store afterwards and saw TI doing stand-up comedy at Crack Em Up Thursday.

Chris follows Kevin 1/26
I’m in the Main room of the Comedy Store watching Tim Dillon and Friends (Which already had a crazy line up) … I leave as David Spade is going on stage because I had to a set in Belly Room & the Original Room. I come back in the Main and Kevin Hart is on stage doing a set, then he Brings up Chris Rock. Then they both go do sets in the Original Room after. So, 3 of the greats performed 2 sets at the Comedy Store tonight… You’re Welcome

Nights Like This…
I have just arrived back in LA from Austin, TX around 10am and I knew I had a radio interview scheduled for 2pm. (FM.COMEDYPLUG w/ Tony Asar) So I had it planned, DONT TELL COMEDY show in Santa Monica, then HAHA Comedy Club in NoHo.
I’m chilling in Santa Monica so I can be early for my DONT TELL set and thats when the COMEDY STORE calls and asks me to open up the main room!
So, I had the Radio Interview and 3 sets this evening (COMEDY STORE, DONT TELL, HA HA COMEDY CLUB) . I wish every night was like this, this plus more money of course.

Creek N Cave
I headlined the Set It Up w/ Jihan Sabir show at Creek N Cave for my birthday in Austin TX. It was the coldest day of the year in Austin. I was there a month before and it wasn’t nearly as cold. When that temperature drop hit yo ass… bruh!
Creek N Cave is The Comedy Store of Austin in a sense that every comic hangs there at the end of the night.
I’ve grown to value the Austin as a scene overall. It feels like an extension of LA for me. It’s actually more expensive to Drive to San Diego than to fly to Austin.
